Associations and Clubs
Presentation
Created at the Higher Institute of Medical Technologies of Tunis, the CIM is the Medical Informatics Club. A scholarly community that brings together health, computer science, biomedical sciences and medical biotechnology students, researchers, teachers, engineers and users of the field, for their expertise on topics related to health information, health training and e-Health.
Goals
The aim of the CIM is to promote scientific research in medical informatics, to assist in the development of medical informatics, to promote pedagogical and docimological innovation in health, to facilitate exchanges within its discipline and to representatives of research organizations, communities and public authorities. Thus, the club accompanies the members in their projects, the realization of their ideas and their biomedical contributions.
Organization
Activities
- Motivate students and researchers to use computer technologies and help them implement the concepts of specific medical standards and standards within the medical community.
- Promote and publicize the applications of medical informatics and scientific research in the field to health professionals, interested administrations and the industrial circles concerned.
- Facilitate exchanges between different health professionals (doctors, biologists, administrators, nurses, researchers) on the one hand, and computer scientists, representatives of research organizations, interested communities and public authorities, from his agencies on the other hand.
- Assist in the training of health professionals, researchers, engineers and technicians in medical informatics especially the youngest.
- Organization of related trainings.
- Collaborate with scientific groups and associations.
- Contribute to the professional thinking that must precede and encourage the evolution of the regulatory texts governing the automated processing of medical and health information.
