Formation’s goal

Objective of the trainingTraining of high level skills in radiophysics
and master the basic principles of radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and
hospital radiation protection and quality control of X-ray equipment.

Opportunities

At the end of his training, the graduate will be able
:

  • To integrate higher education as a research professor in biophysics and medical physics.
  • To master the techniques of radiophysics and hospital radiation protection.
  • To participate in research programs in radiotherapy, radioprotection and quality control methods of nuclear instrumentation systems in medicine.
  • Integrate medical physics teams from hospitals and private clinics using ionizing radiation.

Conditions of admission

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems, Biomedical Engineering,
Electronics, Computing or equivalent licenses, Physical License, Engineer, Doctor, …….

  • Biophysics, processing and shaping of biomedical signals (biophysical pathways and biomedical signals).
  • To integrate higher education as a research professor in biophysics and medical physics.
  • To master the techniques of medical image processing in order to obtain the maximum of information for the medical diagnosis.
  • Participate in research programs on acquisition, processing and quality control of images and medical imaging systems.

At the end of his training, the graduate will be able

  • To integrate higher education as a research professor in biophysics and medical physics.
  • Researcher and teacher researcher university and hospital-university in medical imaging, biophysics, medical signal processing, medical physics and radioprotection.
  • Researcher in a laboratory, unit or research center, in medical imaging, biophysics, biomedical signal processing, medical physics and radioprotection.

Conditions of admission

  • Graduates of a basic degree in physics, biomedical engineering, electronics and electronic systems, computer science or a license admitted equivalence.
  • Doctors (level: public health doctor, resident or university hospital teacher).
  • Engineers with training similar to M1 (semester 1).
  • Graduates of a research license in physics, physics chemistry and instrumentation and licenses admitted in equivalence.
